| This is the most simple book written on the subject. It is a must read for beginners and a great refresher for advanced players. This book contains all the hand odds and does not require a PhD in Math to understand. As a professional Holdem player and game host I have witnessed thousands of hands delt and Warrens' lessons are dead on. I wish his book and the Caro's book of tells could be combined into the ultimate holdem reference. Some people may believe that some of the strategies contradict themselves but the advanced player should understand these principles and lets face it anything can and does happen at the table and you have to sence when the odds arent going to hold up. If you think there are contridictions read it again and then play with some buddies |
